When Subhash was trying to design an improved boiler, he visited an industry in Jaipur where he saw a boiler-based mawa-making machine. He was flustered after knowing that the amount of wood and water consumed to make mawa is 100 kg and 4000 liters, respectively. This much fuel extracts mawa from 100 lit of milk. It also consumed a hefty amount of electricity, thus making the whole process very costly. Knowing this, he started modifying the boiler design used in mawa making. After ten years of hard work, Subhash successfully developed the enhanced version of a boiler-based machine for making mawa. In this mawa maker, the steam circuit (boiler, kadai, condenser, pipe) is made with a closed leakproof design, improving fuel efficiency and minimal wastage. It is leakproof and hence requires no additional water. It has automated boiler operation and automatic steering operation, reducing wood consumption and labor work. The boiler-based mawa-making machine was awarded at the national level in the 8th National Grassroots Innovation Awards 2015. He won the first prize in the Amazon Sambhav Entrepreneurship Challenge 2022; also, his startup was awarded the Startup of the Year award. He received the 8th Biennial National Grassroots Innovation and Outstanding Traditional Knowledge award in 2015. He was also invited to be a part of the fourth batch of innovation scholars in the residence program of the Rashtrapati Bhavan
