GLED offers a sustainable solution to the environmental challenges of LED bulbs by introducing a reusable bulb with a replaceable PCBA-LED cartridge, reducing replacement costs by 75%. This innovation can save 1.75 billion kg of plastic, 12 billion kWh of electricity, and 10 billion kg of CO2 annually. It also supports sustainable employment through manual assembly. Winning the Purpose Earth Grant would help fund production and raise awareness for this eco-friendly lighting solution.
