Details Of Innovation	Some farmers use castor oil instead of castor cake in bet (Zizyphys mauritiana) plantations to protect it from attacks by termites. They pour the castor oil on the lower portions of the plant stem. The oil seeps down and penetrates the root zone. In Rajkot, some farmers spray kerosene oil on the crops for the same purpose.
