Yields 225 quintal/ha, as compared to Guntur Sannam (S-4), a national-level released variety producing 150 quintal/ha; contains higher ASTA colour value (ie. 117) compared to Gunture Sannam, (having ASTA colour value 32.11); lower percentage of capsaicin (8-methyl-N-vanillyl-6-enamide) in this variety(O.139) compared to S-4 2. Resistant to dieback, anthracnose, leafcurl, rootrot and bacterial spots.
