Details Of Innovation	Flowers and young cotton balls of the cotton crop are often shed due to high temperatures. To deal with this problem, farmers pour castor oil (approximately 50 ml.) near the stem to cool the soil. This practice is widely adopted among farmers who grow cotton for the purpose of seeds, but they are generally discouraged by the steep price of castor oil. This practice has been in use for years.
