Details Of Innovation	Farmers blow the sangu or conch to chase away the red hairy caterpillars in the groundnut crop. They believe that the caterpillars congregate and try to escape from the fourth corner. The caterpillars are collected manually and destroyed. The conch is usually used during religious occasions or at the time of funerals to make announcements or to draw attention.
