Details Of Innovation	Farmer use of a mixture of red chillies (Capsicum annum) along with castor seeds (Ricinus communis) to store sesame (Sesmum indicum) seeds.For every 10 kilogrammes of sesame seeds, Patel mixes 100 grams of castor seeds and 100 grams of small pieces of red chilli with the seeds. These seeds are then stored either in gunny sacks or any other container. Thus, this method effectively wards off any pests in the stored sesame seeds.
