Details Of Innovation	The lower regions of the vine of bottlegourd tends to rot. A spoonful of hing (asafoetida) is applied to the affected region and a fine-cloth bandage is tied around it. This treatment has been in practiced for a long time and is mostly used in homestead gardens and shows favourable results in a week.
