Details Of Innovation	Farmer Mahendrabhai Kalubhai from Bhavnagar district of Gujarat uses castor (Ricinus communis) oil-cake as manure in his farm to control termites and prevent fungus and wilt disease in the groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) crop. He spreads about 40 kg castor oil-cake manure per 0.25 ha in the furrows before sowing. This not only controls termites but also gives protection against fungus and wilt disease.
