| Details Of Innovation | When termites are seen in the wheat (Triticum aestivum) field, immediately use the branches of the milk bush (Euphorbia tirucalli). Cut Euphorbia branches into pieces of two to three inches size and bundle them up. These bundles are placed in the channel supplying water to the wheat field. As the water starts flowing, the juice or milk of the Euphorbia bundle goes along with it. Termites tread clear of Euphorbia juice. This is a traditional method to control termites. |
