| Details Of Innovation | It is noticed in crops like groundnut (Pennisetum typhoides), maize (Zea mays), and other horticulture crops. An experiment was done, and it is being done for the last fifteen to 20 years—about 50% of persons engaged in horticulture use this technique. Its elevation is made depending upon the fact whether there is a loss to crop or not. In horticulture crops, animals cause substantial loss by eating away the tender portions of plants and thus preventing their growth. To prevent such loss, take cowdung and add water in a vessel. The cowdung should be fresh so that it can be prepared easily. This mixture is made once in eight to ten days. This method is used by 50% of people in planing horticulture crops. As an alternative, scarecrows are erected in farms. |
