Details Of Innovation	In coconut (Cocos nucifera), pomegranate (Punica granatum), and guava (Psidium guajava) trees, rhinoceros beetle makes a hole in the stem and feeds on the inner part. Jaggery (100 gram) is thoroughly mixed with 100-milliliter water and sprayed on the infested stem at five days intervals to control this problem. Jaggery solutions attract ants. Ants attack the rhinoceros beetle and kill it when in high numbers. The effect of this method is observed on the third day itself. This method has been in use for the last seven years.
