| Details Of Innovation | For the control of caterpillar in paddy (Oryza sativa) and finger millet (Eleusine coracana) crop, fish named "Nivati" is ("Levato" fish) killed and mixed with one litre cow's milk and one liter water to prepare the stock solution. This solution is then used to prepare the total spray solution for spraying one acre of crop of paddy (Oryza sativa) or finger millet (Eleusine coracana) and then sprayed on the pest infested crop. The remedy provides about 50% control of this pest. This is a traditional method, learnt from forefather and is in use since last 25 yr. |
