Details Of Innovation To improve fruit quality and yield,small pieces of leather are collected from the cobbler and inserted into the soil near to the roots of the plant by applying salt to it. If leather is not easily available then fish can also be used. The fruit tree is irrigated or watered at every 15 days interval. The farmer has been using this practice for the last five years and it is being followed or adopted by 70 -75 per cent of the villagers. As a result, the shedding of flowers has reduced and the quality of fruits has greatly improved.
