Details Of Innovation	Farmer Mahadevbhai Bhalabhai from Surendranagar district of Gujarat informs that he uses leaves of neem (Azadirachta indica) and wood-ash for storing the grains and seeds for longer period. For the purpose, he puts a layer of neem leaves and ash and sand mixture on top of the storage vessel after he has fillted it with grains, and then he closes the lid tightly. This method keeps the grains free of pests for 2 to 3 years.
