Details Of Innovation	Arjanbhai Meghabhai Jadeja staying in Alampura village of Dashada taluka in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat suggests the use of smoke of neem or Azardirachta indica leaves for protection of cumin or Cummin cyminum from mashi. If mashi attack the crops of cumin or Cummin cyminum, the output is greatly reduced. He burns neem or Azardirachta indica leaves all around the crop and lets the smoke spread over. This method ensures 50 percent protection from the menace of mashi. About 30 per cent people in the village use this method. He has learnt this traditional remedy from his forefathers.
