Ingredients Chaste Tree (Vitex Negundo), Indian Beech (Pongamia Pinnata), Crown Flower Plant (Calotropis Gigantean), False Black Pepper (Embelia Ribes)
Details Of Innovation About 7 kg each of chaste tree (Vitex negundo) and Indian beech (Pongamia pinnata), and 4 kg of crown flower plant (Calotropis gigantean), are pounded together. This paste is mixed in 20 L of water and boiled for half an hour. Thereafter, this mixture is filtered and mixed with 100 L of water and then sprayed on plants. Extract of crown flower plant has proved very effective on crop destroying insects in the laboratory. (Reference: Mason PB 1995, Special issue on Teak (Tectona grandis): Indian forester 121-6 728-532 NAPD- Dry seeds of Indian beech are deadly for insects. Ref: Nair S L 1954, Poison seeds of India Part II, Bombay natural history society, 52,2-3, 1-18, castor (Ricinus communis) leaves and straw increases fertility of soil. Dry seeds placed in stored grain prevent infestation of insects. Castor straw also controls insects especially nematodes worms mixed with soil. Also take 200 g false black pepper (Embelia ribes) and boil with two litre of water. Next day filter this mixture and mix with 100 L of water. Spraying of this mixture eradicates viral diseases. False black pepper is a digestive remedy. It also has a mild laxative property. Extract of false black pepper is effective against escarides worms.
