Details Of Innovation	Almost every year, the smut disease seen in Jowar (Sorghum vulgare) plants in north Karnataka. To control this, soak the seeds for two to three minutes in the urine of an active bullock prior to sowing. Shri Bima Reddy of Dharwad region of Navalgund taluka finds it an effective traditional technique.
