| Details Of Innovation | When the fruit of brinjal is very small, larva enters the core of the fruit from its stalk and carves the fruits from within. This goes unnoticeable from outside. It is not certain that the fruit with hole is larva-affected. According to a farmer, Bharamgauda, grow the plant of dill [Peucedenum graveolons] along with brinjal so that its strong smell prevents larva from entering the brinjal crop. |
