| Details Of Innovation | Larvae of green, light red and black variety infestl adyfinger (Abelmoschus esculentus) crop, especially in cloudy weather. Kantibhai Laxmichand Chauhan from Sabarkantha district of Gujarat uses flowers of neem (Azadirachta indica) and lemon (Citrus limon) to control these larvae in ladys finger crop. He mixes 3 kg finely ground flowers of neem and lemon in 10 L water and uses this solution for spraying purpose. He is using this practice for the last 15 years. |
