| Details Of Innovation | Adding poultry manure and castor (Ricinus communis) cake in guava (Psidium guajava) orchard minimises or prevents termite infestation in guava. In the same way, if the hieght of cotton (Gossypium herbaceum) is in excess, it will lack sufficient flowers and balls. So to induce new flowering, the crop is pruned at the top. With this, the interculturing operation is carried out with irrigation. This induces new flowering, improving crop yield. |
