| Details Of Innovation | Crabs are the pest of paddy that is specially grown in the low laying areas in monsoon season. They live near field boundry by making burows. The infestation / damage can occur in any stage of paddy (Oryza sativa) crop. The pest generally damage the crop plants by cuting the leaf and tillers. Spraying mixture of about one kilogram castor (Ricinus communis) cake and 50 g asafoetida (Ferula assafoetida) over crab infested area of field, controls the crab. |
