| Details Of Innovation | For the control of aphids in Indian bean (Dolichos lablab), 500 g flowers of mahua (Madhuca indica) are soaked in two liters of water for about 12 hrs. The flowers are then crushed in the same water and filtered. The filtrate thus obtained is then filled in a pump and sprayed on the infested crop. Two sprays are given in a week. This gives complete control of aphids within 8 days. This is traditional practice and used by a number of farmers of this area. |
