"Farmer Chimanbhai of district Sabarkantha treat wound condition in animal. To cure this phase, flour of finger millet (Eleusine coracana) is mixed with the water to form a thick paste. This paste is completely filled in the wound of affected animal by placing cotton and then tied with the bandage. In four to five days, animal is cured of the wound problem."

|
Animals often sustain wounds because of accidents, by fighting one another, falls and thrashing. Deep wounds are subject to swelling, suppuration and maggot infection. In case of injury due to sharp object, there is bleeding as well which may take time to clot.
