| Details Of Innovation | Aphids suck leaf sap due to which curling of leaf in cotton plant (Gossypium hirsutum) is observed. It is observed 25 days after sowing. To control this problem, 50 g lemon (Citrus lemon) juice and 500 g of one week old sour buttermilk are mixed in about 14 liters of water and sprayed with the help of 15 liter capacity pump at eight days interval. Aphid control is achieved with only one spray. This is a traditional practice that the innovator learnt from his father. |
