"For treating this condition, i.e., to bring the animal in heat, Lakhmanji of village Karoda, district Patan of Gujarat believes that feeding the animal four betel (Piper betle) leaves daily for 21 days helps generate sexual heat in animal and it conceives."

Disease Description
|
If cows and buffalos of three to four years of age do not come to mate with the male of the animal, the condition is called anoestrus. It will be a loss for the farmer for he will be denied milk supply despite expenditure on the animal.
