To cure this problem, root extract of caper (Capparis deciduas), liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and seeds of black cumin (Nigella sativa) are mixed and drenched to the affected animal for one day. "Raghuji Thakore from Mahesana district of Gujarat treats this condition by crushing 500 g or the whole plant of puncture vine (Tribulus terrestris) plant and mixing the pulp in 2 L water and 200 - 300 g milk. He drenches the concoction so prepared to the affected animal 2 - 3 times in a day. This gives relief to the animal."

Disease Description
|
Due to the complete stoppage of urine (Anuria), there is a burning sensation in the urinary passage of the affected animal. It becomes partially off-feed and depressed.

Management Practices
|
Treatment is dependent on the underlying cause of this symptom. The most easily treatable cause is obstruction of urine flow, which is often solved by insertion of a urinary catheter into the urinary bladder.Dextrose and dobutamine are both used to increase blood flow to the kidney and act within 30 to 60 minutes.
