| Ingredients | Tea (Camellia sinensis) powder |
| Details Of Innovation | About 250 gram of used-up tea (Camellia sinensis) powder is mixed at the time of sowing with one kilogram of millet (Pennisetum typhoides<i/>) seeds to increase millet production by five maunds as compared to untreated millet. The method is being used for the last 30 years. The mixing of tea dust with pearl millet (Pennisetum typhoides) seeds exerts its effects until the crop is harvested. Its effect can be seen from the improved growth of plants. The method was innovated by grandfather of Valubhai Jebaying in Bhavnagar. Many neighbouring farmers have adopted this method. |
