| PAS 1 | For easy expulsion of placenta after delivery approximately 2kg pearl millet (Pennisetum americanum) grain, 100g of methi(Trigonella foenum-graecum) seeds, 50 g of asalio (Lepidiumsativum), 25 g of suva (Anethum graveolens) and 500 g of jiggery are boiled in water for one hour. The cooked feed (aftercooling) is fed to cow or buffalo after delivery. The placentaexpels out within 2-3 hrs after this treatment (Vaghasiya, 2001).The root of jepti (500 g) is used to remove the placenta frombuffaloes after delivery.
