| Management Practices | Govindbhai Desai feeds 5 kilogram of asparagus (Asparagus racemosus) to the animal suffering stiffness of legs over a period of eight days. This medication will completely cure the animal of stiffness of legs. This is a traditional practice which Govindbhai has learnt from his elders. If animal is suffering from stiffness problem, both fore legs of animal get stiff and refuse the feed. Slowly hind legs are also get stiff and animal is unable to move. For the treatment, use 250 g fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), 50 g turmeric (Curcuma longa) and 500 g vegetable ghee are mixed to prepare a mixture. This mixture is fed to the affected animal and ultimately, the animal feels easy and starts to act normally. |
