"Gandabhai Punjabhai Bavliya of Surendranagar cures bloat with the help of castor oil (Ricinus communis) & jaggery. To cure bloat problem in animals, he uses 100 gram castor oil (Ricinus communis) with 500 gram jaggery. Boil the mixture and drench the solution after cooling to the affected animal with the help of a drenching pipe. As a result, the animal is relieved."

"Farmer Mohanbhai Sarvaiya of district Amreli treats frothy bloat in animal. Caper plant (Capparis deciduous), turmeric (Curcuma longa), common salt, and lemon (Citrus limon) are mixed, kept for 2 days and juice obtained from it, is used for treatment of bloat. Moreover, 250 gm pickle of caper plant (Capparis deciduous) given to the animals also helps in treatment."
