"To cure diarrhoea,Baria Ramsinghbhai powders 200 g each of the bank of Khakhro(Buteamonosperma), 'mahudo'(Mahuvalatifolia), and khair(Acacia catechu). Then some water is added and the solution is heated,cooled and allowed to stand overnight. Next morning it is filtered and two bowls are fed to the animal, once in the morning and once in the evening. This is done for two days to control the diarrhoea (Honey Bee, 8(2):14, 1997)"

"Dahyabhai of village Raiyali uses the powder of the seeds of Tamarindus indica to cure cattle of diarrhoea. A fine powder of 500 g of tamarind seeds is mixed with half the quantity of water and fed to the cattle. The mixture is administered for five or six days. This will cure diarrhoea (Honey Bee, 9(2):16, 1998)."
