For healing the wound, tender leaves of thronapple (Datura metel) and babul (Acacia nilotica) are crushed well and a paste is made. The paste is then applied on the affected part and the wound is bandaged. This treatment cures the wound in animal and forms new skin."

" When a bull, buffalo or cow suffers wounds in legs, or the wounds have turned sepsis, then Chandubhai uses the tuber "kalikandmul" to heal the wound. He grates the tuber of "kalikandmul" on a millstone or in a mortar and applies it on the wounds. He also bandages the affected portions and changes dressing daily. The wounds heal quickly."
