| Community Practices | "For the treatment of anestrus condition, Lalabhai Becharbhai Khatana takes 300 to 400 gram groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) oil and 30 to 40 gram black pepper (Piper nigrum) powder and mixes the ingredients thoroughly before mildly heating it up and allowing it to cool. This mixture is administered to the animal through a drench-pipe. Following the treatment the cow or buffalo will regain its sexuality. Thus anestrus can be cured in eight days. Only one dose of the cure is sufficient for the animal." |
