"Farmer Ramjibhai of district Dahod treat limb fracture in animal. To cure the fracture of limb in animal, use 100 g roots of "kalsha" creeper, which is crushed and 200 ml of water is added. The mixture is strained with the help of strainer. The complete mixture is drenched to the affected animal with the help of drenching pipe. The fracture portion is well adjusted thereafter, the cotton and bamboo strips are placed and tied with the bandage. The animal is cured from the problem."

Other treatment of bone fracture includes , Splints – to stop movement of the broken limb. Braces – to support the bone. Plaster cast – to provide support and immobilise the bone. Traction – a less common option. Surgically inserted metal rods or plates – to hold the bone pieces together. Pain relief.
