Details Of Innovation The green twigs of ‘akda’ are planted in the paddy field at distances of 10-15 feet. A concentration of aphids is found on the green leaves and twigs of ‘akda’ planted in the field; within a few days, about 30-35 twigs are required for one bigha or 0.24 ha of land.The aphids are in this way effectively kept from attacking the paddy.
