| Details Of Innovation | ‘Arni’ (Clerodendron multiflorum) leaves are crushed and the juice is kept overnight. The next day the jowar seeds are coated with this juice before they are sown. This method helps to control 70 per cent of black smut disease. Approximately one and a half kg of ‘arni’ leaves are needed for 20 kg of jowar seeds. |
