"Juice from the tender leaves of naffatia is mixed with camphor and used for the treatment of maggot infestation. This has been practiced for many years by Ramanbhai Bavabhai Patel in Ahmedabad. Joggapa uses leaves of Erythrina mysorensis and are crushed and mixed with eucalyptus oil. The mixture is applied on the infected part of the animal and the wound is covered with a bandage. After three days the bandage is removed and the wound is pressed softly so that the maggots come out.
