Details Of Innovation	Shri. Rajkumar had developed this variety through simple selection method. He collected initial material from ICPL-87 variety during 1997. The pod of ICPL-87 was at the epical portion and in bunches. The farmer, on seeing this feature, thought of selecting it for further multiplication so that yield can be improved as he observed more pod bearing and number of branches in the plant. • Perennial variety, which can be harvested twice in a year • More number of pods per plant • Higher yield of 18-24 q/ac • Length of the pod is 3.0 – 4.0 inches • More number of seeds per pod (5-6) • Disease tolerant • Storage / Shelf life : 1 to 2 years
