| Details Of Innovation | To control leaf curl disease in chilli (Capsicum annuum) crop, use stems of stone apple (Aegle marmelos), which is buried near the root zone of chilli plant. About two feet long stems of stone apple (Aegle marmelos) are used for the buried purpose. The stem is neither thick nor thin. The treatment shows effects in 20 days. The chilli crop is saved from the leaf curl disease. The practice is being used for more then ten times. Alternative: Spraying of ash is also effective to control leaf curl disease.
