Details Of Innovation Kalyanbhai Trikambhai of Amreli district of Gujarat informs about the premature shedding of flowers and young fruits in coconut tree (Cocos nucifera) especially in the month of winter. For the prevention, he dissolves 50 g flowers of ajmet in one liter of water and the mixture is stored in a plastic bag. Then, he places this bag in the coconut plant bed so that it have direct touch to the roots of cocount plant. This method prevents the premature shedding of flowers and young fruits of cocount tree. It is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers.
