Details Of Innovation	The surface grasshopper feeds away the tender leaves and obstructs the growth and development of crop. To control the infestation of surface grasshopper, 800 g of juice is obtained after crushing the "chita" fruits. In this juice, 10 to 12 L of water is added. This mixture is then sprinkled on the affected sorghum (Sorghum vulgare) crop. Ten to fifteen per cent control is observed by using this practice.
