| Details Of Innovation | To control the infestation of aphids in the seedling stage of chilli (Capsicum annuum) crop, burn the agricultural waste and spread the ash uniformly in the seedbed. The leaves of conessi (Holarrhena antidysenterica) are also spread later in the seedbed. The conessi leaves have a bitter taste because of which aphids go away from the seedbed of chilli seedlings. Besides, conessi leaves have the quality of keeping the exact proportion of humidity and soil efficiency required by the crop. This is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers. |
