Prof. Anil Gupta, Founder of the Honey Bee Network and Founder of GIAN (Grassroots Innovation Augmentation Network), addressed educators as the Chief Guest at the Educators Symposium held during Sandipani Guru Poornima Mahotsav – 2026.
In his address, Prof. Gupta highlighted the importance of nurturing curiosity, creativity, and compassion in education. He encouraged educators to recognise the knowledge and innovations that emerge from communities, villages, and everyday life, emphasising that learning should inspire students to observe, question, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Referring to the spirit of the Honey Bee Network, he spoke about the value of sharing knowledge with respect, giving due credit to innovators, and creating opportunities for grassroots ideas to flourish. His message encouraged teachers to cultivate an educational environment where empathy, innovation, and lifelong learning become integral to the learning process.
The symposium brought together educators from different regions, providing a platform to reflect on the role of teachers in shaping responsible, creative, and socially conscious future generations.
