Innovation Details: In Kashmir during winter the valley is witnessing heavy & light snowfall several times which resulted in the closure of all the minor & major roads. This season is a period of three months starting from December & ending with the month of February. But due to the availability of heavy snow cutter machines/vehicles the roads are being cleaned with the help of these machines which takes sometimes 2 to 4 days to restore the traffic normally. The narrow paths & roads left uncleaned & they remain jammed during the whole season which increases the burdens of the people. It reduces the movement of the people on these paths due to the slipping & sometimes they get fractured by falling. People either used to make a narrow path with the help of a spade or they used to run upon the snow. Due to the unavailability of any type mini machine, they are left to live with these problems.

Taking these problems into consideration a mini–Snow Remover has been developed by him which can be used to remove the snow & clean the roads very efficiently. During the winter season agricultural activities remain shut in Kashmir. The mini tiller machine which is used to plough the field is of no use for this period. So, to make this tiller ploughing machine of multipurpose use, he added an attachment to it whose design is such that it will clear the snow on surfaces and roads just like heavy snow cutting machines. It will be attached on the front side of the tiller which will not be monolithic with tiller & will be easily detached whenever needed.

This attachment can be attached & detached only with the help of 2 bolts just within two minutes. This attachment comprises a curved shovel blade having 48 inches of curved width which cleans the snow from the surface of 36 inches in just one go. The whole device remains unchanged in its design & operational activity which adds novelty to this innovation.
